Hojicha Green Tea

Organic Hojicha is a roasted bancha green tea that has a crisp, smooth, and sweet taste with a light refreshing liquor, making it an ideal accompaniment to meals. Unlike other Japanese green teas, it is roasted rather than steamed, resulting in a reddish-brown color. Hojicha is widely popular in Japan and around the world.

Tasting Notes: Smooth, sweet, velvety mouthfeel, slightly smokey

Brewing Tips: Use 1 tsp. of tea per every 6-8 oz. of boiling water (170 degrees). Steep for 1-3 minutes. Do not over brew to avoid bitterness.

• Large: approximately 1 ounce/27 grams - makes about 12 to 15 cups of hot tea
• Extra Large: approximately 2 ounces/54+ grams - makes about 24 to 30 cups of hot tea
